its summertime so most of the trout have probably been fished out of there. if you want to catch trout then your best bet is to wait till fall, Northpark gets stocked on Oct. 23rd.

That lake is full of 12 inch bass, as far as trout....i think they all get fished out or die by mid summer because the lake does not stay cool enough for them.(its only 9 feet at the deepest point, and a mud hole) I can remember catching trout in mid june and they had lost all of their color and were soggy.  There is a couple good spots for trout and bass if you walk down pine creek a little.

I have seen trout caught into august. your best bet for any fish there would be to get a boat and fish between the island and the spillway. in the middle there it is 13'. i use spinners, jigs, or drift with worms or minnows. if fishing from shore try anywhere between point grove and kolich grove. also near the tunnel by the spillway is good. right now the creek is doing very well for smallmouth and a few trout. the part of pine creek just downstream from the wildwood flea market is the best fishing using inline spinners or small minnows. there is a cold spring that goes into the creek there that keeps trout all summer.
