pghmarty,  Thank you, thank you, thank you.  I talked to Mossy earlier about digging out some of Terry's old posts.  Awesome that you found some.  It's actually very hard to read some of his posts without shedding a tear or two.  Even some of the fellers in those posts that are no longer on the boards are missed as well.  I've spent many days on the water with that man and have a hundred or so photos recalling those occasions.  I like remembering those times.  The stories I could tell.  Dano knows.

    Thanks for sharing........

I have to admit, there are a few places that I just don't feel like fishing anymore without Terry around.  I just wonder sometimes if he had any idea just how many people's lives he has touched.  I still just about every email and picture he sent me from our fishing outings.  Good times for sure.........

Missed very much in this house.

There was only one Terry, "The Crip" and these boards will never be the same without him. His love for his family, most people, hunting dogs, 'the chromedome' and all the great outdoors was second to none. His physical condition gave him a different slant on how he viewed the world and that world is a a bit more lonely without him.
I was just thinking, the other day, how I used to look forward every night to read his posts and laugh my****off. I visited him in the hospital right before he passed and realized that I had never met anyone like Terry and that I really was going to miss that dude.
If Queenie or Terry's Marine is reading this God Bless you both.

Terry was one of a kind and is missed.  He had a way to cut through the BS and get to the heart of the matter.  I had the privilege to talk with him on several occasions and I can say he was truly an great person and a testimony to courage.  Thanks for reminding us all of him.

Miss the guy a lot.  The boards haven't been the same with out him.   He posted some pictures of me, Medik and himself on the old board of one of our fishing trips.  I tried to retrieve them but was unsuccessful.  I think about him all the time.

    Marty,

Thank you so much.  I wanted to get that done but Im computer illiterate.

It's hard to progress thru fall, hunting and fishing the runs without thinking about Terry.  As Loopy and I talked about, he could be a "bear" to deal with.I think his insecurities tainted a lot of relationships with people.  There was no doubt tho about his passion for the outdoors and his lust for chrome. I hope you guys enjoy some of his stories and pictures.

This is weird. I replied to Tims post on rant, and mentioned Terry and how I came about meeting him. I did not page down far enough to see this thread befor doing so. I was surprised to see the heading for this thread when I scrolled down. Strange how some things happen.

I just reread this thread again tonight, after  I went back and looked at some pics Terry had sent me over the years I fished with him tonight.  I noticed some posts from some people that I met because of Terry.....Chrisrowboat, Flyfishingdave, Loopy, Youghman as well as some folks that I don't know personally.  I  have wondered how many miss our friend like I do.  Now I know.  Bless all of you.

I hope all of you are having a good season in the "Chrome Dome".  I hope that our paths will cross one of these days!
Very proud to be a Friend of Terry.

    Great thread guys.

Had a lot of great times with Terry . I miss him greatly and think of him quite a bit.

He introduced me to a lot of the great people I know on this boards. Everyone on here that knew him enriched his life in one way or another, and he enriched theirs.

Was at 20 mile the Friday before the One Fly and knew he was watching us fish. Another Day in the Chrome Dome with the Cripp.

Has anyone spoken to Lori recently? Just wondering how she and the boys are doing.

    Thanks for this post.

I miss Terry and his positive outlook on life. Time and time again I saw the man come back from physical pain and hardships that would have crushed me. He was a fighter to the end.

My only regret is we never did get to fish all the streams we talked about.

Terry never got to post on the new boards and that is another great loss for the rest of us.

Even though i never knew,or met terry,i feel like ive known him all my life after reading all your posts and veiwing the pictures you shared. You also opened up my minds memory bank of some my most cherished times fishing with my grandfather, who past away in 1969.He used to take us grandkids on an all nite catfishing trip at the mouth of elk creek(when we were allowed to camp out there). We would fish for a day or so,then he would take us for ice cream at the now closed, little ice cream store next to erie community park. When we got to his house,we would fill the bathtub and throw all the catfish in.When grandma woke up the next morning she would freak out seeing all those fish in her bathtub.lol........These are memories i cant replace.Even though it hurt for a long time when he passed,i learned at an early age to cherish the good times becase they far outweighed the greif i felt when he passed.Even now,as i write this, ive got a tear in my eye and a smile on my face.Thank you all for sharing terry with me....Now get out there and fish, cause you'll be making more memories..........btw,i do plan on making a trip up from my brookville area home in a coupla weeks....Im in need of a steelie fix lol

A most unique fellow, with a zest for life I have never seen before. Through the internet and and fishusa.com, Terry was able to forge special bonds with many people. He is still making an impact on this board. Thanks Terry
