I keep going to the garage to look at it to make sure I really got it.  Its the nicest buck I've ever shot.  im Turning 37 in Nobember and have hunted and not missed an archery season since I was 12.  shot my first doe with a 35lb stemler recurve.  Its come a long way since then.  Last year I passed up on 2 smaller buck from this same stand one was a heavy 7pt but just not ready (he was a nice 6 with a split brow tine)and the other a small 8.  I can only think that this was that 7pt a year later.

Yes it is 11, main frame 8 with split brows and a crab claw on the left at the end of the main beam. I dont count the numerous stickers at the base.

Good things come to those who wait

Good buck but I also noticed it had not been gutted out.  I guess this is common practice in Mercer county I know a few guys out that way that do the same.  In fact the one guy waited two days hanging the deer in a tree before gutting it.

No my friends, the deer had been gutted out.

    A.  I got in the habit of leaving the nuts on.  Did you know that some states require proof of sex (yes even for bucks).  I know PA is not one of them but I have hunted in Indiana, Ohio, NY, MI, and WV over the past few years and and every state has goofy laws so its just a habit I got into about cutting around them and leavin them attached.

Besides how else would I be able to save them for later and put them on my buddys car antenna!!!

    B.  did not cut through the brisket on a deer that I was for sure going to cape for the Taxidermy guy.

Sorry, but we do gut our deer in mercer county and leave a nice present in the woods for the yotes.

Mulchman, get a knife and man up your self, processor lol, Here at my house we cut our own deer so we have plenty of time to cut off the nuts, next time I'll save them for you since your so concerned about them.

Nothing wrong with leaving the guts in for awhile (couple hours) anyway. It makes for better photos and saves getting the body cavity full of debries from a drag on bare ground. I oftentimes leave them in until I get home and skin the deer first before gutting. It makes for a much cleaner deer. It's all dependent on the weather, ground cover and length of time until I can be home or to the truck.

NICE buck Mak  Ya know you can make scents from the nuts.  Seen a hunting show a few years ago.  The guy used the nuts and stored them in some chemical really can remember it was. But let them sit until the next season and claimed it will out do any other scent out there. Hanging the nuts on you friends antenna would be something to see  LOL congrats on the buck
