Fish in the tribs

I know you get steelhead in the tribs, but what other types of fish do you get, Any types of salmon or anything?

Rare but some years you will find a stray pink salmon(humpy) around. Its a nice bonus to hook and land one of those in erie. Ive only hooked and landed 1 in the many years I have fished the cricks.

There is a big run of spring suckers that fight almost as well as steelhead.

This year they started stocking sea-run brown trout, so soon you may have something like the run of big browns we have in Lake Ontario. I doubt it though. Our browns come in to feed on the salmon eggs. You don't have salmon.

No, Erie doesn't have the salmon but the browns will run on instinct. Not just the presence of salmon eggs.

NO. Your browns come in to spawn, as will our. The salmon eggs are just a bonus for them. Just as the Steelhead eggs, will be for our Browns. As will the Brown eggs, be for our Steelhead. A wonderful, vicious cycle

I've seen a near-death king in an eastside trib that shall remain nameless, not even worth trying to present something to it though... Just saying that they're not just on the west side...
