I was thinking about making a trip for some steelies. Anybody think the streams should be ok tommorrow?

I would not expect a day to write home about, but there should be fishable water. From the looks of things, low water may be the bigger issue than high water.

Seeing the stream cam at the end of the day, Elk has risen significantly, so low water should not be a problem. Brandy Run is still bringing in extra water.

gotta love the weather channel web site. it says for right now, "heavy rain" but the radar shows a small light rain cloud that's nearly past Skip's house Cope, here's what i do on "maybe" go, maybe "no go" due to rain. You never know how much precip they'll actually get thru the night, so what I dooooo.... I check the Brandy Run gauge before I go to bed when I wake up, I check again. If it's dropped a fair amount, I'm fishing. If it spiked higher, I'm going back to bed http://waterdata.usgs.gov/pa/nwis/uv?04213075 it's on the way down now, if it stays on the down line, you're chances are good. If it's spiked up in the morn, stay home and give your girl some lovin'. ..L.T.A.
