I'll go with guru on this one... No way that fish is even 40 lbs, probabaly around 30. Nice fish regardless!

Agreed. Not even close to 40 lbs. let alone the 44 pounds someone claimed it weighed on another site. It's a biggun', 30? Only way it makes 40 though is if it had someones 10lb burt dam snagging weight still stuck to it's rear.
