Dream scenario

Set up my blind to let the deer get used to it.
I also set up my Scoutguard to see if any deer were using the area.
Got this video yesterday, I would sure like to see this happen while I was in the blind.
He is 10 yards away..

    Bings,
    Awesome vid!
That deer is very suspicious of the blind...

Cut some saplings and spike them in the ground around it and then cut yourself some shooting lanes.

Dang Bings. You never cease to amaze me with the quality of the bucks you have your eye on. Can tell you do your homework all year long. I know I've said it before, but I really appreciate the stuff you put up here - the critters and the fish. Very cool and fun to look at.

Couldn't have set that cam up more perfect.   He's showing a bit of concern, but defininitely huntable.  Hope it works out.

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

    Bings,

Your Scoutguards give you any trouble?  I bought three last year, only have one working now.  Other two went "blue screen" on me and aren't working properly.  When they do work they are great little cameras.

    Nice deer!

There is a nice 9 point running with him.
The blind is set up out behind my house and is real close.
So we are going to reserve the blind for our mentored youth..

My buddies boy is 10 and has been practicing all summer with his compound, pulls 40 pounds, and is one heck of a shot..
Nothing more would please me more than to see that young man get a shot at one of these bucks..
Let's hope the Hunting Gods smile upon us all and we have a safe productive season....

Now he is really testing me...

    http://s156.photobucket.com/albums/t11/bingsbaits/?action=view&current=282bd5e3.flv

Did as ironhed suggested and cut a bunch of saplings for camo and I now leave the windows open a little..

I hunted another area Sat. evening, and got him on video again walking by the blind at 7 pm..

Makes it kinda tough deciding which stinkin buck to hunt...This buck is nice..The other buck is a bruiser..
