heading up this saturday evening until monday

well i'm gonna make it up for a couple days.  i'm actually mostly going to be working on my property up there, but i will find an hour or two in the morning to try and catch some steelies hopefully.  the water temp is now under 60, and you know what that means...

    I caught a few Steelies way up river last week,they were bright chrome and full of fight.

    oh yeah, i love those early fall runners.  i caught one about 3 weeks ago.  i'm sure theres a lot more now.

    believe it or not there are steelhead in that river all year long.  the only two months i've never caught a steelie in are june and july.  i've seen them though in those months, but yet to catch one.

    Hmmm  I'm mostly geared up for salmon  LARGE flies hooks.. will NY steel take a powerbait ball?  color?

    sure they will... probably just about any color, but green, orange, pink etc. are probably best

    Dime my wife and I fished SR yesterday and saw steel mixed in with the horde of kings. And also more browns and some of them are huge!!!

    Stress is just one hookset away from being gone.

    Where did you fish Cohook? I fished the DSR, town pool and below 2A and I only saw kings.

    nice cohook...  i'm looking to target trout thihs weekend.  i might just fish bobbers and egg sacks behind the salmon clusters...
