Chesapeake Rock...

Headed down to Kent Narrows for a little Rock fishing with some of the guys that I have befriended over the years from working down there.  We got our limit and here are some pics, now you usually catch the biggers one in the spring, but these were decent. As an added bonus, Danny, the charter boat captain, who's family own the Harris Crab House Restaurant on the Eastern Shore, brought some raw oysters that hit the spot with the ice cold beer.

    Bob,

I go down and fish with these guys at the end of April and the end of September.  When I was there in April this year, the biggest one we caught was 47" amd the smallest one was 37".  Depending on the conditions there, sometimes we troll and other times we use spot for bait. In April, we had out limit by 10 AM and then went perch fishing catching around 150 by noon.

It is always a good time!

    Joe!

Great to hear from you, I was wondering if I was going to have to come up that mountain and see if you were still there. Hope all is well!

Have you gone for salmon yet?

Yeah, those Rock are pretty tasty if I do say so myself.
