Fish Moving Through DSR

I was just on their site & the following is posted. No doubt a result of the release for Yakers.

September 05, 8:38 a.m: Today is the day you have been waiting for!! As of first light the DSR is stacked with a BIG run of fresh KINGS!! Anglers from the Spring Hole down are enjoying multiple hookups. The fish are moving fast and the rest of the run should see action throughout the day.

its about time the fish are gonna make it down to the PUBLIC holes where we don't have to pay $30 for "world class fishing" on the dsr. i'm going out later tonight and first thing tomorrow. i'll let you guys know if i see anything.

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

I've never been up there before. nor have I had the opportunity to fish for salmon. What might i need to be successful? It's not equipment info I need as much as where and when to go. Any help would be great.

Roll the dice. Hit or miss. You could/should hire a guide. The $ is worth it. The learning curve will take much of the frustration away.

Sat was the day. After they bumped the water up to 750 Fri night , we seen aprox. 1,000 Salmon come through DSR all day. Everyone was into fish. Sunday they were up river and I seen only about 50 fish go by and had 3 on, way slower. This morning only seen about a dozen with none on.

It's just starting and only better things to come.

I can't imagine what it's like seeing fish that big cruisin upstream.
