Caddis Larvae on Elk

After the sun came out this afternoon I walked to a little spot on upper Elk Creek for some pre-season bug searching.  I found a few cased caddis larvae under some rocks.  Most cases were made of small pebbles with the occasional twig in the mix.  This was a good sign in my eyes, the numbers weren't huge.  Some rock had none and no rock had more than two but it was still nice to see them there.  In any event I thought I would share my find.
