lots of big dead kings

Salmon trolling was tougher then normal for late Aug this summer- but still produtive. It seems July was more consistent this year. The last 2 days has been alot better though and conditions are much more stable- I'd bet the next 2 weeks will be smokin for us:fishfight:
100-120' off the Salmon River to north of the creeks has been good for trollers. The normal green and white flasher fly combos run 80-100' down has been doing it for us.

    nice catch gottum. i'll see them in the river in the next few days, that just made me think about salmon steaks and beer

    If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

    Great stuff. I thought you were in town taking pics. of the early/dead fish. Haha.
    I hear the estuary is full of Salmons. Get ready for an invasion of the mouth breathers.

    Hitting the river tomorrow after the boyz saw a big batch under Rt.3 all the way up to DSR. Some of those kings are real slobs Gottum! I may reconsider line weight.

    Stress is just one hookset away from being gone.
