Where to buy fresh eggs in Pulaski?

Can someone tell me where I can buy salmon eggs and skein in Pulaski? I've never been there. Thanks!

    Check the cleaning stations for the eggs and skein. I don't recall ever seeing skein in the shops there. Better yet, catch a female salmon or two and there ya go!

    By natural I guess I mean cured? I'm not sure. You know in Erie you can buy eggs ties up in sacks from bait shops. Someone there makes them. You can also buy skein. That's what I'm looking for. Thanks!

    You can buy the eggs sacks in all the shops, but not skein, at least that I remember. In Oswego, Larry'e Salmon Shop sells fresh skein.

    Hang around a cleaning station and you can get skein in Pulaski.

    Thanks! Can you tell me a good shop? I have never been to Pulaski. I looked for location of shops online but didn't find anything. Are any of these places open early enough that I can get my bait before sun rise?

    Check out this site-- www.salmoncrazy.com. I think there is a listing for tackle shops there. I know Fat Nancy's is open 24 hours in salmon season.

    when you get off the exit for palaski you will see the bait shops. they are packed with gear, but you will need nothing but a piece of sponge and learn the reverse snell knot. went last year was very disappointed. your not gonna fish there like you do erie, you wont get a bite. when you hook 1 its great but its not going to be in the mouth. they move into the river to spawn not eat. if you like fahness snagging you will have a blast, if you like watching bobbers going under and hooking in mouth you will be leaving early like we did. wait a couple weeks and go to alcotte.

    I haven't found bait to be that much more effective for the SalMon anyhow.

    Steel on a pin---so easy a caveman can do it.

    not gonna catch crap on bait. on the salmon river thread you never see anybody say , got them on eggs sacs or skein or crawlers or anything. the only thing you see is the fish are here or the fish are there, not what they are catching them on. 4 of went last year and bot all kinds of crap and ended up using a $.02 piece of sponge. had camp site payed for and left 2 days early. headed to erie and started rippen.

    I've caught salmon in Alaska before (with a guide). They attacked my fly for sure! They bite out of aggressiveness not hunger.

    Last year my 10 year old son  caught a nice female king on an egg sack. Year before my 11 year old son caught a king and steelhead on a streamer.

    I was with Gottum a couple years ago & he caught a great Coho with a sac.. Down in the Gullet hooked.
