Finally....I'm in the club!
I finally had a 100 fish day! Had the time of my life. Constant action in a hole I ain't hit for awhile. I wasn't usin a clicker, or counting "hook ups", but I figure I stuck a hundred or more of these little buggers. I had no expectations when I left the house...for me this was a blast. I stuck um for 3" to 13"...all on the surface. I assume one of yinz will send me my certificate, card, and embroidered patch...just let me know where to bounce the check. 
I don't always snag fish, but when I do... I choose Little Cleos I'm the best looking smartest snagging poacher alive...

I would NEVER use a treble! Sheesh!  No flyrod that night guys....That hole is however my new training camp.

I assume one of yinz will send me my certificate, card, and embroidered patch... I know where I can get ya a handbag for cheap....Maybe they can put an custom embroidered patch?

I'm probably wrong, but I thought those white bass swam around in schools following the baitfish. You know, here today, gone tomorrow. Was the "hole" Lake Erie? Sounds like a fun time. Glen

Your right Glen, they follow the baitfish. Yes...the hole is Lake Erie. I know from years past, those lil guys will feed in that same spot, at the same time, for the next few weeks....I hope! I really wanna try em on the flyrod, could help my learning curve.

If he does its my fault. I gave him a fly rod to practice with. Sorry guys you will have no chance since Slick is a first timmer. You know how that goes . begginners luck right? He will snag!  I mean catch all da bigguns and have a good time doin it.

Glen was right ....I tried hittin' the same hole this evening....no feesh. I did however gain some valuable experience with the flyrod. My rollcast improved...however...i seem to keep moving right every cast...dunno what the deal is. (I'm a lefty). When I try to adjust...I tie the leader in a knot.....Gotta get with B. Large flies seem harder to cast than sMal...maybe it's just me. Tried "stripping?" pulling a big popper on top...that's fun! Tried a few back and fourth casts like I seen yinz do. I don't know the name. I did better than I thought I would for a first attempt. I did however crack it too hard and snap off my fly (not yours B) in a sonic boom type fashion. I think I'm musclin' it too much. All this goin on and if a fish did hit.....I got a whole new set of problems...you fly guys are some talented individuals.

Well the sonic boom you created when trying to whip the fly was you not letting your back cast completely unravel. Since I was new to casting not too long ago I would always watch your backcast, it will make it easier to see what happens when something went wrong. And pulling the big popper on top was stripping the fly. I dont know about the roll cast though?

Slick , We will fix the problem. You just need a little more patients , it will come to ya. Practice is all , dont give up the ship just yet, you will get it. See ya soon and you will be ready for the one fly trust me.
