Did you catch any fish up at camp?

We managed about 30 Natives in 3 days  one about 12 Inches but the wife was too far away with the Camera and I didn't want to keep it out of the water too long.....  I must say for his first native trip he hung in there like a trooper.......

He also got to see his first Elk  Cow....  And also got to see Pap step in some fresh Bear dung  LOL

Good job Pap. That's what it's all about right there. Love your pics of worn out grandkids.

I remember many trips to the mountains with my dad (day trips since we didn't have a camp) to catch brookies that ended up with me looking a lot like that. Well, I remember the fishing, not so much the ride home

hah, I got to see my first bull elk in deer season last year.  A group of them moved south into cambria county and I had a huge bull (6x5) stand up 30 yards in front of me in the snow.  Talk about majestic.... It was a memory that will be burned into my brain forever.  That thing was huge, each back leg looked as big as a big white tail. 800 pounds or better, I would imagine.

Unfortunately, the locals complained about their berries and grass getting eaten, so the game commission trapped/shot the animal in the spring.  Not sure which, but it was removed by one of the two methods.
