wow those are nice ones Gottum, I am going to have to try and get up there and book a trip with you some time. How early would I have to book for next year, and when would be the best time to go out on the lake if I were to?? My father and I have talked about it a few time but I never had any time off. That has changed just recently and I should have some for next summer and fall.

I can always fit trips in - I do 2 trips a day and I usually have plenty of last minute openings for the afternoons

this year has been better then average since late June- however the most consistant salmon trolling is from now(mid Aug) until mid Sept- that's when the majority of BIG mature kings migrate to this end(eastern end) of lake O to get it on in the Salmon River in Oct.

yes those are small ''dragger lakers'' they won't trip the release(set tight for kings)
That is Mark-northnwoods outfitters- he's a charter cpt also-
Tino aka Spade from SC and of course -
    the one and only Belly-Porker
We hit 11 salmon and landed 7 in just over 4 hours-
the fish have been giving us a whoopin lately-
typical of horny kings ready to run-
alot of these fish have stopped feeding but are hitting out of aggression -
they are actually easier to catch then feeding fish-
the one tino is holding is just over 30#s
That's the 5th one this week in that range w/ more 25-27#ers
    mixed in!

That's not fishing, it's just driving the boat around until the line snags into a fish

I thought that big en' looked about 30#, but you get them to hold the fish way out in front. Why didn't you do that trick with me? Hehehe.
PS- I've never caught a Laker. They say they don't fight much, but I still want to catch one some time.
Someone told me they hang around the big O sometimes.
