NICE, that seems to be the way it works. I can never understand how it's SO hard for people to steer the boat straight while trolling, maybe they do it on purpose so they get to reel all the fish in. What really gets me is the couple of guys that have been out with me enough to be able to tell the difference between a walleye and a sheephead. They pick up the rod, crank it a few times then look at you and say "you can have this one".

    Nice pics, nice walleyes,

You guys that want a wall mount class walleye, consider a trip to lake Ontario's bay of  Quinte.

Went in 2003, last week of oct, trolled deep diving crank baits.  Friend of mine got one 14 lb 7 oz.  Best I could do was 11 lb 10 oz. Seems like every other fish caught is over 10 lbs.   11 or 12 lb fish is nothing to get excited about. 15-17 lb fish are caught every year.  Quinte is one of the best if not THE best spot for trophy great lakes walleyes.

Best time to go is late Oct thru ice up in Dec.  Ice fishing in Jan/Feb. is very good, friend of mine got one 14 lbs 2 oz, another friend got a 13 lb 9 oz.thru the ice, Deseronto area.

Quinte is about 5 1/2 hrs from Jamestown, NY or Erie Pa.

Just two, the one in the pic and another 5lb'er.  Completely different setup then you were using Slick.  Give me a call and I'll inform you....  Oh, wait I heard you got limits out of Coney.  I wanted to go for the Ohio line but had enough pounding by just west of Godfrey.  Well, won't be going out again until I get my truck door fixed.  Thank God Storymaker is picking his boat up tomorrow night, I'll mooch off him for a while.
