Pymy "camping"

Gentlemen,

Mrs. Slick is lookin' to go "camping" in the pymy lake area. Catch is... she refuses to sleep on the ground and wants to rent a cabin, preferably right on the lake. I will also be totin' 2 kids (8 & 11) and Taco dog. I'm not too familiar with the area. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I don't always snag fish, but when I do...
I choose Little Cleos

both states have cabin rentals, but from appearances, i thing pa. cabins look nicer and put you closer to the water.

Jamestown (south end), Tuttle (central), and Linesville (north end), have cabins for rent.  I have been at the Linesville cabins when a buddy rented one.  I believe there are access points for fishing right from the cabins at all 3 places (not positive tho).  If you have a boat the Linesville boat launch is right outside the cabin area and the Jamestown and Tuttle is down the road some.  I don't know the prices or anything like that.

As far as pets go, I don't think Linesville allows them, but the other 2 do.

Here's the website for some info for you... http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateParks/parks/pymatuning.aspx

Cabins: Twenty modern rental cabins by the Jamestown Day Use Area are available for year-round use. Five ADA accessible, modern rental cabins by the Linesville Campground are open from mid-April to late-October. Cabins have a furnished living area, kitchen/dining area, toilet/shower room and two or three bedrooms. Occupants must bring linens, towels, cookware and tableware.

If you are really feeling adventurous, there are some Yurts over in the Ohio state park for daily and weekly rental..

Frost is right. No pets @ linesville. Remember if fishing from the boat your Pa licenses is good anywhere on the lake

Slick, one thing about the State cabins. Most of them are booked solid thru the summer and fall. People put in for them in Jan. I think. Your able to go to the state web site and see what's open. I'll tell you one thing they do that is crazy, if you ask me. If there is ONE day open they will NOT rent it out. It has to be 2 day min. They said with having to pay someone to clean it, It is not worth it to rent it out for less than 2 days! I figure even if they break even, so what!

My Wife said, if I go fish'n one more time, she'll leave me! God, I'm going to miss her!
