stripers still here

bumped into a fishin bud of mine last evening that said he caught a 29" er on a chunk of white perch,in the coeymans area from shore......I believe him,he don't b.s.

    Oh yeah, there are some being caught right from the marina docks. They are there all year, just not the slobs and numbers like in the spring.

    I have no doubt they are here all year round, even though this time of year you are more likely to catch a catfish on white perch..... so it's basically EXACTLY like striper season for me

    There are catchable numbers of stripers in the river 12 months out of the year. Had a blast catching them on Christmas day a few years ago

    Yeah, I catch the same number of Stripers in February as I do in May...
     
    Sadly, the numbers are dismal for me twelve months out of the year...
