pa fishermen are uncouth, pagans, dress funny and smell bad. but i guess, all in all, they are pretty nice guys. i am with you skip...there are some really neat people here. first came on board in 03-04 and though i try, i cannot stay away. this is the crown jewel of the gathering of knuckleheads of which i am a charter member.

I have a good experiment to recommend as well, but you may need to wait a month or so to implement it. As soon as someone posts information on the steelhead run or where they caught fish, instead of jumping all over them and starting the inevitable bloodbath, ignore the post and let it slide on down the messageboard instead of holding it up at the top with every new attempt to justify the anti-information argument.

x2....... the kid got annoying, as kids can, but it would have been much easier to just ignore him. i still go back to the old boards from time to time. though we disagreed, i don't think there was non-stop degradings. maybe is just got away from us all, and it is time for a correction. we do have a good thing going. would like a return to sanity before we lose any more old-timers.

philosophically, it does have to do with fishing in that we are looking at one fisherman's interaction with another and how we can improve upon it, leading to a greater sharing of wisdom and experience, therefore, making us all better fishermen.
