stingers 2.5 or 4

Alot of walleye catches are being reported on Stingers.  I was just wondering are you using the smaller ones , 2 1/2 ", or the larger ones , almost 4".

Thanks

    I always use the 4"

I almost exclusively use the Scorpion stingers for walleye. We use the larger ones for steelhead. Get yourself some harnesses as well, any color as long as it's purple

I use the standard stingers, catch too much junk on scorpions. Have been switching to Dreamweaver super slims and peerless spoons, the paint don't peel off them its kinda nice.

The Ohio guys swear by them, however, I've been reading reports of harnesses being the ticket out there this year instead of the spoons.  I'm with Nuke and Tex though, I prefer the bigger spoons that take way less junk out there.  I just can't see any advantage to the little ones which need more speed to get running nice and have less flash...besides, the 3 1/2" and 4" size appear to mimick the bigger emeralds in Lake Erie better IMO.  Typically 9 out of 10 times, by the end of the day, I'm usually running all harnesses anyway.  In my boat, the spoons rank 3rd after the harnesses and stick baits pretty much everytime.
