EPA Public Meeting 6-8pm at TREC

The Environmental Protection Agency will host a public meeting from 6-8 p.m. tonight at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center seeking feedback on the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. President Obama’s proposed budget includes $475 million for restoration of the Great Lakes, and the EPA is gathering ideas for how to use the funding (assuming Congress includes the appropriation in its budget).


Just an FYI in case anyone is interested...

Maybe they can buy an underwater chainsaw for $475 million and take care of those logs near shore?

Or $475 million dollars worth of goby traps, I dunno...

    Or maybe they can put some more boat launches in here on the West side like at Elk Creek that accomadate more than a Jon Boat....

    Or maybe they can do shades beach boat launch the right way so its boater friendly. Make it bigger too.
