Are the 2 missing days for drinking?

I'd take a 6'6" to 7' Ugli-stix with matching reel. You might want to try Williams or Pixie spoons, although those others will work. Sometimes you might want to add a piece of bacon or cut a strip from a fish belly and add to your spoon! Don't forget your steel leaders! Canadian Tire stores usually have the Williams lures as well as other fishing items. Good luck - have fun!

For Bear I like a 9 foot surf rod and 80lb braid with a biminy and a shock leader. I like a stainless 5/0 hook with a crispy creme...PLEASE practice catch and release. REMEMBER if you touch the leader its a catch.Good luck.

I'd use a bigger abu garcia round reel and a medium heavy rod with 50 pound braid

Also, if you're worried about the bear's teeth, just wear a "love glove".

If you run out of krispy kremes....blue powerbait works well too.

Chicken, What part of Canada are you going to? I have a 6' medium power fast action St Croix that I have used several times up around Shining Tree. Also use a 7' heavy duty baitcasting set-up for trolling. Red and white daredevils, as well as Williams Wobbelers will do fine. We also use stickbaits in chartreuse, and firetiger patterns.
