2-4's in the AM with possible water spouts subsiding to 1-3's...I think I am going to invest in a Surf Board....Probably get more use than my boat.....

Only thing I ever pray for is a safe trip, on the road and the water. The good Lord does see fit to send me fishes and loaves though. Contrary to popular belief....I think he likes me.

Well I know the Baha can troll in 7 and 8 footers! We stayed out today and fished the full day. A little bumpy i must say! The fish are there can't get them to bite, we managed a couple and lost a few. Perch were very active. I'm back home so they should start eating good tomorrow!

There was nothing unsafe about staying out there and I left it up to my clients. If the conditions got to a point I thought it was unsafe or dangerous that when I call it a day. I offered to let them go today and they wanted to stay and fish yesterday. We were fine with a following sea. Still able to pulll eight lines with no problems at all. Not all the charters pulled the plug on state street, Bomber, Wolfman and Hawg Wild fished all day. It's at the customers discretion unless the captain decides it's too unsafe or dangerous. The 7 and 8 footers were for a very short period of time, most of the day there were 3 to 5's but mostly 5's. With conditions like that they still had around 18 or 20 hits and were very happy with the choice to stay fishing. Today (sunday) conditions are much better and the guys are doing pretty good. I justed talked to my capatain who is running the boat today.

    Just got back.

It was a bit bumpy this morning, but it flattened down to 2's by the time we got off the water.

I have a hard time believing that the EJ wouldn't go out in that, but I didn't see them.  There were only a dozen or so trailers at East Ave and most boats seemed to be hiding behind the penninsula.w_w.

If it has fins and gills, I'm there.

I have spent way too much time standing on the end of piers watching the waves and saying "I think it's comin' down" to even bother going on weekends like this.  Let's see, I got the house cleaned, painted the porch, and watched some movies.  Hell of a lot better then what the lake had to dish out this weekend.  Doesn't matter anyhow, I'm officially out of money.  Looks like fishing is out for the rest of the summer.  I don't feel that bad everytime I click on NOAA and see the latest "bottom side up" lake forcast.
