Big Pond Sunsets!!!

I havent been to many places. A few different states and never overseas. But I do know one thing Erie has some of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen personally. I have seen some in magazines and on the tv but I think we have something special here in Erie. Just a few progressive shots of the evening the other night. All from the cell phone. Hope you enjoy.

    I read somewhere years ago (time mag?), Erie at one point was voted the 13th best sunset in the world, 7th best in the US. My buddy who don't fish much is thinking of joining this site, just for the pics. I'll share a few:

    Slick, I remember reading something along those lines. I believe it was in a National Geographic, but I thought they said 10th best in the world. Not that it matters, but I like to think it was ranked 10th best not 13th best .

    Yur probably right. My numbers were an educated guess, and back then....I was probably lookin at NG, not Time. NG had more boooobs. My noodle is a bit crispy (i know i'm gettin' slapped fer dat).

    I was going to make a reference to boobs and National Geographic, but refrained. I knew though, somebody would mention it. In all seriousness NG has some really interesting articles and awesome pics. Let the jokes begin lol.

    I've gone to a PI beach after many a fishin' trip to catch a sunset before the ride home. Kick off the shoes and walk in the sand. Best way to end the daylight.

    Bug...while I'm positive you don't appreciate my humor/antics, I'd like to say "Welcome back!". You write the bestus posts I've read... on any board....any subject. You really bring a sense of morality to the game, and I/we (I think) have REALLY have missed your wisdom.
