midday crappies

Well made it back out to the lake today right after church I hit the water at 12:30 pm, bright sun, mostly dead calm with a touch of a breeze now and then.
Worst possible time and conditions for finding good crappie, Go figure? by 2:00 pm I had my limit of some realy nice size crappies. same jig found them bunched out in 25ft deep water suspended. I trolled slow and deep and circled moving further and further out and when I caught one i marked the spot anchored and started pullin them in. lot of fun.
