Looking for camp or property

not sure where that zip code is but the last time i took a ride on montour rd up by wharton in potter county there were a couple of camps for sale

Don't know where that zip code is but I have seen a few for sale in Jefferson County over the past month or so.

there are also usually some camps in venango county for sale.  i havn't been over there in a couple yrs but we use to see them along the river quite often

This is a fishing forums, not a cheap way to find a piece of ground. Try a google search there are plenty of other websites to will be of much better help. I can't believe no one else stepped and said this.

And maybe a good resource to find a nice camp.  Sorry that this was such an inconvenience.  Next time don't click on the topic !  Thank you to the other guys that were very helpful.

I will be selling a 1800sqft. camp/home across the road from the allegheny river within the next few months. Its located in the village of kennerdell about 5mi north of 80. Everything is brand new, gutted to the studs and rebuilt. Great neighborhood, most houses in the village are camps. Will be selling in the $130,000 range. Village has its own natual gas company, public water, and has armstrong cable.

I've got 67 acres in Clarion County for sale. 150 year old barn and a house that needs work (or burnt).

I've been looking for a cheap camp for years without any luck. I've been trying to find something for practically nothing because that's basically my net worth. My kids will be grown soon and maybe I can save some money after that. It's getting tough around these parts though with about 1/2 the people I know layed off or out of work completly.

Is it possible to find an acre near game lands and fishing for around $5000.00 ?  

Filled the tank and drove from light to dark around Marienville yesterday.  Lots of camps that haven't been used for years but not too many for sale.  One decent one but price was way high.  I am now narrowing my search to Elk county.  My friend has a camp on Medix Run and I love it.  Anyone know of anything for sale up in that area ?  

jim, same up here in mahoning county.  i have a buddy, laid off, who said that if he can't find work, he may eventually move to his camp and tough it out.

bulldog1 is right. Find a place you like go to the county courthouse and research the owner and make an offer. The worst they can say is "no". That is how I found my 2 ac. at Pymatuning. I started at the township supervisor's office looking into who hasn't paid their tax and sewage bill when I found someone I contacted them and made an offer to get 1 ac. then I went to the Crawford Co. court house and researched who owned the ac. next to the 1st one. I made an offer and that was that. It took some leg work, but I ended up with 2ac. for less than going through some real estate agent who wants his cut.
