price of new boats

had my mind made up this was the year i was going to buy new went to all the boat shows i wanted 18 ft alumn 4 stroke honda and kicker next to it all the popular brands were 25thou or more just cannot bring myself to spend that much  anyone buy new this year? i know i do not see many new boats on the water  glad i sold my 19 ft inboard to my son at least i can go with him until i get the courage up to buy

    Plenty O deals to be had on used boats now, it is for sure a buyers market.

    chrome,didn't buy a new one this year,bought one new in 2007.19.5' w/merc 115 four stroke.
    welded hull,monark made by starcraft,great boat...had 3 previous boats and always had too
     work on them..not really a lot but just enough too make me worry! so i went smaller and
    bought this new one and boy am i glad i did. now i will run this for a few more years then
     sell it and buy another new one! the money i loose will be just as much as i would spend to
    maintain an older boat but without the headaches! shop around you might just find one
    too justify the money.by the way i got a hair over 24 thousand in it! you do have it right
    the 4 stroke is the only way too go!  of course jmho....

    It's more than you were talking about spending, but it's also alot of boat for the money. This boat new (with trailer) would cost an additional $25,000 over what I'm asking. And mine is like new. Plus there's a couple grand in electronics and accessories included

    Just bought a 2008 Lund 1775 Classic with a 2007 75 Merc 4-stroke last summer from haines marine.. purchased it for under 25,000. I know for a fact that Haines Marine in andover has a 1700 Pro Sport lund with a 75 Honda Four stroke and a honda kicker too.. im pretty sure it s under 25 too, but not positive... may want to check that boat out as it just about fits what you are looking for... let me know if you do check it out chrome
