turtle meat/shells?

Does anyone know of anywhere buying turtle meat or shells. I know there was a place in wexford buying meat several years ago but no longer know if they are or not. A buddy and I have been jugging for them the last few weeks and have several so far. Looking to make a few exra bucks if we can.

  • Except for snapping turtles taken by commercial permit, reptiles, and amphibians, whether dead or alive, in whole or parts, including eggs or any life stage taken from within the Commonwealth may not be sold or offered for sale.

that was a wet blanket being thrown on your fire.

"A Homewood man led police on an hourlong car chase that ended with a crash injuring three officers.

"The car was driving itself," Wright said. "The car has a GPS. It's a Lincoln Navigator. They drive themselves. I wasn't running nowhere."

    Fuzz,

Can't you put in a special request at the local meat shop/market? If you can you might actually make a bargain out of it, as I'm not real sure what cow tongue goes for though.

We used to use any type of smoked pork fat.

He said Jugging....not jigging...lol. You tie you line and hook/bait to a milk jug and let it float, instead of tying it off to shore.

If u have a commercial permit, Erie County Farms may be interested. I've seen it for sale there in the past.
