Wind blown Crappies

Well Started off at Lake Sylvan with the wife but after a snake (again) crawled out from under the boat seat, it was back to the bank with her practically
standing on my head all the way and other fishermen laughing as we went by.
So I settled for a WINDY afternoon of fishing on another lake, it was hard to keep my line down and feel the strike, but I still managed to limit out on the crappies along with a few good sized gills. They weren't monsters but they was fun.

Have two BIG freezer bags frozen in water saved so far of crappie fillet's with a gill or two a smattering of a couple of walleye fillet's LOL it was hard to keep from eatin that last two. maybe ten pounds in all.
I will bring them along to the party and any more I can add between now and then.

have a open seat 90% of the time any are welcome. I have a crappie pattern I always use. I just follow them from the deep up the points to the shallows then as water warms up and they finish spawning follow them back out to the edge of the weeds then to deeper water. then the cycle starts over. same with jig. slow almost no action tube on a float deep. then shallower, then more action and switch to the curly tail jig as they get active, then loose the float and super slow real it back, to adding a spinner and staying close to the top evening and early morning. seems to have always worked well for me.
