$6 for a doe tag

$6 for a doe tag

    Correct me if Im wrong but isnt it $20 for a dmap permit this year. How do they come up with these prices. You can get a doe tag for $6, but to help a place out that has a problem with deer you have to pay $20. $20 to kill a second turkey but $6 for a deer.... these guys smoking crack or what?

    I have wondered the same thing for awhile.  It costs $6 for a doe tag, $11 for a bear, and you can shoot all of the pheasants you want for nothing and they want $20 to shoot another turkey?
     
    I can shoot a bear, 2 does and 20 pheasants for the same as one turkey. I would rather make everyone pay $5 for a turkey stamp good for 3 birds.

    Unless you've encountered somebody doing something illegal, it's $10, Jeremy.  Page 55.  Theoretically, they should pay US to clear their land.

    I agree. I picked up a coupon today for the first time and saw it was $10. I thought we were helping them control their deer. I will do it this time but never again when doe tags for the same area is $6.
