I heard a few years ago there was a pond in Grove City in the center of town that was loaded with them and the township was letting people catch them. A guy I knew who i'm not in contact with anymore said he caught a couple for his pond from there ? Anybody know if thats true ?

saw a monster koi in lower twin lakes a few days ago. but again its probably a one in a thousand chance of getting that particular fish. on the same note do koi even hit corn dough ball and worms? or are they algae feeders?

Check around your local golf course's as D-nymph stated.I stocked my pond with all sorts of gold fish/koi from a local golf course..Paid $1-$3 A FISH. Had to catch em myself,(Hint) take your fishing pole & bread. Got bite figured out caught extra & sold them to a pet shop $3-$5 a fish. Some up to 10 inches, but where stunted due to over population. 5 years later some of those fish are 5-6+lbs.
