Strutter down 5/20
Decided to take the day off today as the weather was predicted to be perfect. Hit a farm game co-op in Washington County that I have not hunted this spring. Had it to myself. Boy did it pay off with my largest bird to date. 22 1/2 lbs, two beards 9 3/4 and 4 inches and spurs 1 1/4 and 1 1/8.
Worked this bunch for a couple hours before they fed my direction and I closed the deal when the strutter hopped up on to a log to do his thing. Shot him at twenty yards. Lots of gobbling activity today and a great day in the woods.
My rifle is a black rifle
