    Ya i was thinking the same till my buddy killed a long beard saturday, but it is pretty much done, Had a bird this morning gobble off the tree then went to the field , stutted and started feeding, snuck up and started calling showed very little interest and fed its way across the field to a group of 9 birds

    Just getting warmed up here.  Friday and Saturday were the first time our birds were out of thier flocks and finished with the hens, hence out looking for more.  Really starting to respond to calls now......Smashed a nice longbeard saturday morning.

    Better too far back, than too far forward.

    Same here musky i called a group of 3 up to a hundereds yards 3 different times yesterday at 3 different setups.They never gobbled on roost but boy when they hit the ground they gobble for 56 minutes straight nothing but doubles and triples.I had to leave that spot to get back to my garage to go to work.I will try there friday morning.This has been one of best years as far hearing them gobble only one day i went i never hard a bird.

    I haven,t heard a gobble in two weeks.
    Saw 6 lbs in a field Monday and spent my morning yesterday hoping to nail one.
    Heard some putts and nothing else.

    Well my little secret spot has been discovered by some a hole and his buddys. They have moved in the area crow calling when it's still dark when they are gobbling on thier own,bumping them off the roost,they even shot one off the roost at 5:15am,stalked my son twice and me once. This area was a super hotspot my son and I have killed numerous birds there,chalk another one up to SLOBS!!!!
