Saturday Stripers and some winnings

We were in a local tourny today , boated 4 but knowing we would need atleast 20lbers to be on the board we tossed back a 17 & 18lber. My best friend Todd managed this 22lber that end up taking 2nd place ($300.00) !!!

He paid for the cold ones after !!





1st place was was a 24.4lber taken by a friend our ours as well.

Our 1st line hit the water @ 7:00am , by 7:05 we netted that winner. By 7:22 we had caught 3 already. After that it shut right down and never turned back on for us.

So it was right place, at the right time.

That's it from me until Thursday now, my 9 day marathon is over ... and yes i want to cry  !

    Nice job and congrats on the winnings!!!
    the river must have been a parking lot, when i drove by the park in green island yesterday (pretty early) there was already at least 2 dozens boats in the area by the dam!!
