Haven't heard anything but I know that Chinatown is pretty good just after ice out. I know you can catch some decent Rock Bass pretty regular using a Med or Med/Sm Mr. Twister grub on an 8th or quarter ounce jig head with an attached spinner form with just a simple cast and retrieve method. Colors seemed to do the best green, yellow even chartreuse. My buddy caught so many Rock Bass on this set-up I started calling him "Rocky". This rig also picked up a few perch, gills and the odd pick as well as Lg and Sm Mouths. If you need more detail message me.
         Tight Lines Mate, Cheers

    PS
This is the spinner form I'm talking about if you had any question. If you can find a willow leaf it is that much better.

    Perch:

I also saw four guys (yes 4) in one small aluminum boat catching several crappies just out from Fitch Road.  Out there it is just like during ice fishing season - once you find them you can have a ball.
Another great place is the cove just past the marina on the south side of the 9P bridge.  Go back into the cove and don't just fish the opening at the end of the docks.  I used to use a white (green also works well) Mister Twister on a #8 hook set 2' below a bobber.
