Shenango stinks!
Took my lab for a swim this morning and the smell along the lake was of that of a sewer!
Was parked along rt. 18 in the parking lot.
When I got home I gave her a good scrubing and the smell is still on her.
Wow , what a stink!!!!

John, that sux to hear. I was thinkin about taking my daughter up on Sun,her only day off. I was going to ask if you saw anything on the water but I figure you wouldn't have let Mika in if you did. Anyone else out there notice it any where else on the lake ? Campground problem ??

Ya, I don,t know if it was in the mud or coming from the camp grounds. It wasn,t bad enough to cancel your plans just could not figure out what was causing the smell. Mika still smells , even after giving her a bath.

I was down by the dam area wednesday and i didn't notice any smell either. Might be from the campgrounds tho as they have some kind of waste dump there for the RV's. Hope everything is fine there.

Did go up yeserday afternoon, hid out in the no wake section till evening. So many boaters !! The only stink was me trying to get fish in the boat! Had to leave early,lost my bilge and she's a leaky old girl............

Glad you made it Tom. We were tubing thurs. and didn,t notice any smell that day, but it was raining hard. Must just be along 18. Who knows. So old leaky was leaking,lol. Get the buckets out.

Yea, the look on the X's face  as I said dont worry, as I'm standing in water was priceless !! I think there was a tourney Sun, saw over a dozen bass boats trailoring out on 18 as I was gettin there. Anyone hear any results ?

Thanks, I'll check later in the week. Did manage to get a couple 2-3-lbers to the boat before our feet got wet !

Anybody else still catching crappies during the day at shenango lake? Lake is real low but the fishing is hot. Fish any dropoff you find and you'll catch fish. My spoons are hammering the fish.

Nice fish.We have to take mom to Transfer for shots on wed.We had to go a few times in the spring also.So close to the lake but no fishing,there is something wrong here.We also took her to Greenville for shots,same deal,no fishing.Steve might hit the ponds today after work. I go to work later. Love those Crappies.

You the crappie king for sure. Sherrylv, same here. Mom just got out of intencive care and going threw test today. Her hemo count was 3. Usually when a womens count is 12 they get a transfusion. She is the talk at Greenville as to how she is still alive. good fishing , John

How is the shoulder doing?
My cousin had his done and has to retire as he can't get it up to work anymore.
Hope you are doing better.
Wouldn't mind the retirement part but the movement is a bummer.

Mines still bothering me too. Doctor said to be patient and rehab hard. Most serious shoulder injuries take a good while to get back together. My insurance plan only gives me 24 visits a year so i can only go to therapy once a week now. I'm down to my last 3 visits before its gone. I may have to join the YMCA to keep my therapy going. Tell CUZ to hang in there. It's not so bad being retired. Specially after the shoulder gets right. Sorry for hi-jacking the thread.

Its okay by me- I was wondering how you were too The wall- the dam- whatever you want to call it- is hot too. cats are killing the minnies  float with a green, pink, white, light blue jig works best I have so much fun with them crappies are missed in- but man, that sizzle of the drag with a cat on the line,..............
