Trade

9 ft 2 piece 6wt St. Croix Reign.  3 years old, used, nothing wrong with it, cork is broken in, lifetime warranty.  Looking for a 4 or 5 wt in the same condition/value range. I started using a 7wt and don't have much use for a 6 anymore. Anyone with a 4 or 5 that is collecting dust pm me.

i'm in erie county.

I have a 2pc 9' 5wt Fenwick HMX sitting around collecting dust, I have several other trout rods and I just don't have a real need for this one anymore.  I would consider the rod to be in excellent condition, I used it one full spring and now it is only used as a spare.  It is in the same ballpark price as your rod.

I do not own a 6wt, I would be willing to trade straight up.

I am in State College for the most part, and Pittsburgh occasionally.  We would need to work out some sort of shipping arrangement.

I'd be willing to do the trade, but I dont know about sending a rod in the mail and hoping I get one back.  If it's allright with you i'll leave the offer on the table for awhile for anyone interested and go from there.

I feel the same way about the shipping deal after thinking about it.  I don't know of another way to do it, as I doubt I will make it up to the Erie area again until at least mid-May.  Oh well if you think of a better way to do the transaction I would be interested.

    fish

it's a 2 piece and in great condition.  i've only fished it 2 - 3 times and that was 3 yrs ago.  i'll check tonight for the length.  i'd be willing to meet you half way to do a tryout, say around lake wilhelm.

the fly rod is 7' long

My schedule doesnt allow me to make a trip to lake wilhelm, so i guess i'm still waiting for someone local who wants to trade.
