shenango reservoir christmas in july?

i heard there is a big celebration at shenango this weekend? anyone know about it? will the lake be super busy? thanks

    They used to have that all the time back in my day (81-85) when I spent most of my summers in the campground...When I say "they" I mean some guy dressed in a santa suit in the back of a trailered boat that was being pulled around the campground...And I believe that some people would decorate a big blue spruce out on the point...He (santi-clause) used to throw the kids candy...I remember one time my dad giving him a few beers...ahhh - those were the days...
     
    As far as the lake being busy...just about every weekend in July - Is busy...
