SR Report 3/2-3/5

Bitterly cold Monday and Tuesday, highs into the low teens. A few fish on each day, none landed.

Weds. started out at 4 degrees warmed up into the low 20's and the fish turned on. Fished up river, a few on, one brown, then went down river and got into hot fish, maybe 10 hook-ups and landed 4-5 fresh chrome.

Thursday started around 8 degrees but warmed up into the 30's. Fished down river, another 8-10 hook ups, landed 3 - 4 fresh hot fish.

Flow was around 1000 each day, 750 out of the reservoir.

Used the float rod, fished with the bead, sacs and flies, but flies were the ticket.

Weather really was not too bad, sun was out 70% of the time and no crowds.

Till next trip,

Tight lines,

Ahhh, I love the smell of earthworm on a damp warm overcast morning! As I slippered to get my paper in the drive earlier, i could smell the spring thaw, like that early morning due ozone spring shower rain smell, or no ..it was of earthworms! ...lol , it won't be long.
