Small lake with a reputation as a good panfish lake. Big bass regulations, 36" musky size limit I think.....Used to fish it once or twice a year. Skipped a few years but fished it last week. Did not do well, but I doubt that means much, once is not a pattern. Shallow, 18'-20' depth (maybe 16-17) if I remember right. I did not take a depth finder last time. There is limited structure, if any. The weed beds and broken edges of the weed beds are the fish cover. You will need a boat, which brings up this odd fact. There is 6hp limit, only lake I know of but it is in effect last I checked. There is some activity happening to change the hp limit and the musky length. I do not think these changes have happened yet. Nice lake if want to get out of the wind and catch a few panfish.

I fished there for the first time about 3 weeks ago.  I didn't have any success but my cousin had a bass blow up on a flatfish.  It was way too hot that day.  I would recommend trying an evening there, it's a real relaxing area.  Lots of lileys on the opposite ends of the boat launch.  And as mentioned take a boat... public launch, private land.

If you have a boat I would try Justus lake (Two mile run) county park.
      Good luck

Yeah real clear...and according to the PAFBC website there's been a decline in the musky population, which is confusing to me that this lake wasn't changed when everything else went to a 40" minimum...I think it should be 50" or C&R only for muskies.

I agree that lake has what it takes. but the panfish might not agree.
