Snyders Hardwater Showdown?

Fellas,

I don't know about you guys, but I think it's about time to try to plan a day to relive the sunshine and fat bass of August later this month on Snyders.  Maybe we can get most of the 'old band back together' and a few new faces too.

What do you think about Saturday, February 29th Or Saturday, March 7th?  Are either of those dates going to work for most guys?

I am not sure if it's enough notice, but I figured it's worth a shot at putting it out there.  We are due for a bender in my yard again soon.

Maybe March would be better for the monster Crappie that invade my shoreline after ice-out...  But still, let me know what you think and we can get the ball rolling on a shindig and/or tourney at my place.

Also- whats the story for the WEEKEND?  I've got three days off and I am hoping for some Pike or a Laker or a big Brown...  Who's going where?

I'm in Jimmy  ... been wanting to get up there on the ice, couldn't make the last one. Hope the other boys can make it, haven't seen anybody since fall.

What do you think about Saturday, February 29th

Since it's not a leap year we do not have a Feb 29th this year LOL.

But the 28th works for me, depending on weather March could be questionable ??? How about even next weekend the 21st or 22nd.

    Keep us posted buddy.

I am wide open on dates,  we can do it on February FORTY-SECOND-TH if you guys want to...

I forgot we had a weekend in there...  Revised proposal:

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21st?   All day event?

We could change the date if it rains- but that is less likely in Feb than in March...

Right now I am a yes and see no reason why I can't make it. Hopefully it will be a ****load warmer than last time and the fish will be bitin'. This warm weather has made my wood pile more accessible also, so I should be able to supply food and wood this time as well. Will probably grab extra bait from Conroys also. Looking forward to another good time.

I gave a shout out about hardwater for Pike or Lakers but maybe the Fishing God Brian might have a good plan for Sat.

    As to the Snyders gig:
I'm slowly starting to move toward open water but if it's still a icy weekend I'm IN........

Now THATS more like it, Fellas!!!

We've got Perchie enlisted on the grill!  I will run some power out to the dock and we'll fry 'em up and have a feast for lunchtime.

If the weather holds, there might even be music again

With so little snow left, I may be able to fit a lot more vehicles for parking, etc.  And if the ice is till plenty thick (should still be more than a foot out there) then four-wheelers should be ridden

Looks like the 21st is the day then...   It is nice to finally get a winter party planned on the lake, since it is still a LONG ways until Traver's Weekend and the 2009 Snyders Blast this summer...

    Looking forward to it, Gentlemen...

Wow you folks are all over this gig.
good time should be had and so far the weather gods have been sending Orange Sunshine on the fishing adventures this year.
wouldn't it be great if we could get this old fish cat I found out today to walk on a little water with us ?

Don't think it will happen. Be it only 3 degs. today , it is all about being in the water for my friend........

Bring some of those perch in case no one catches any cheeseburgers on Saturday!

I've got a walleye in the freezer from last week, maybe Perch Inc will toss that in the fryer too?

I am thinking no tourney- just a party...  What do you think?

Obviously, in August a tourney is nearly MANDATORY since we hang out all weekend and have plenty of time to gloat or cry over successes or failures...  Unless the tourney winner just takes the cash and drives to Greene County as soon as the crisp 20's hit his hands...  Sounds like a Steve Miller song, doesn't it Brian?

"Go on...  Take the money and run..."

I am looking forward to Saturday, and I am sure we will have a fun time.  It's been a LONG time since we've had some of you guys together, and it sounds like a few new faces too!

Parking should be like last year, as long as the snow holds off a bit.
