    Jeff:

Sorry things didn't work out on Lake Lonely today, but when I drove by I noticed how deep the snow was on the lake.  However, someone drove along the path with a 4-wheeler and this is going to ruin it for others as that is a nature trail.  No one is supposed to drive a 4-wheeler on that path, as the neighbors really get upset and so do the DEC officers.
Glad you hooked up with Wisdom as he and I have been missing each other when we fish Lonely.  Much warmer over the weekend with possibility of rain/snow mixture.  Hopefully it won't turn to slush and make for difficult walking on the lake as there is plenty of ice.
I'm still fishing Spier Falls where the snow is deep, but you don't have far to walk out on the cove to find a decent spot.  Still not much luck with the walleyes in the evening like it was last year.

Brian were a set of bad blades - no shavings - more like snow cone material - called Strike Master - will have a new set of blades at no charge to me in 3 days - floated on the ice instead of digging in..... kudos to Strike Master for replacing them so quick !!!

    ReelForce...

You have to spin the auger CLOCKWISE, dude!!!

Sounds like you're all geared up now, how cool!  No fish is safe anymore!  You should hit up Collins Lake for some pike and smallies or something since it's so close to home!  I've been wanting to get over there myself soon!

I should have brought some ice fishing gear down here to New Orleans this week, since it is FREEZING here!  I could probably set up for some Redfish or Spotted Sea Trout on the Mississippi outside my hotel room!

Hope you guys get some fish this week!  I will be on the ice SOMEWHERE on Sunday...

that' would be sweet!! not only would you have a nice jiggin' hole, but when that thing goes through the ice you have plenty of structure to fish!!
