fishing with kids and all the gear
spring is coming and I will be doing a-lot of fishing with my three kids (11 girl, 5 boy, 7month girl) we do simple fishing grubs, worms and minnows.of course with the kids comes stuff: chairs, snacks, drinks, some toys and now a stroller (with a rod holder attached) i was wondering if anyone out there has any solid plans for a teardown fishing caddy that would fit into a small cars trunk. something that would hold a small cooler and all the stuff. help??!!!??!?!

Those collapsable grocery carts work well or a red flyer wagon (might need bungee cords)

i know all about it . we fish alot on ice n during the summer . mine are 6 & 8 and they can pack the truck . if you need something to lug stuff from car to the spot , try a dolly, works pretty good and you can get a cheap one. cuts down on the trips

There's a guy on crappie.com named shipahoy that has what you're looking for. Think he built it from a golf bag or something like that. Go there and look him up.

I bought an aluminum beach cart for surf fishing. It would make a great cart for getting your equipment around.

I myself use a hand truck with a tote bungeed to it. Only downfall is going over logs can be tricky and sometimes the cords pop off.

7 monthes old........nice. Get em out there early I say. As far as a cart goes, I dont know what you could do collapsable. Little red rider might work, backpack/bucket the rest. You'd be amazed at what you can get into a spot with a backpack and a bucket.

use a old golf bag and get a wheel cart to go with, will fit all your rods, line, lures and some have small coolers in them and should fit in car ok.
