If you are itching to fish the Susky and your on the York side the warm water at the ppl power plant is the place to go. Last March me and some buddies had an awesome day up there Pulling out big Flatheads, smallies, and a few hybrid stripers.

I'm from York & living in Lancaster right now.  I fish the Susky occassionally, wading for bass most of the time.

yeah ive heard nothing but amazing things about warm waters, but someone told me they stopped flushing warm water out like they used to which ruined the spot all together. Dont know if there is any truth to it but that sucks if its true. I usually hit up Muddy Creek in York Co. or anywhere around Normanwood Bridge on 372 down to the Peach Bottom ppl. Havent been out in quite some time tho. No drivers license for 6 months makes it quite tough, and more updates on the area would b useful tho! thanks

I'm going to be in York county next week and plan on fishing a bit. I'll post how it is on some of the waters. Probably going to try fly fishing the west branch of the codorus below lake Marburg in the trophy trout section for brown trout. Also want to get up to the York Haven area on the Susquehanna for walleyes and catfish.

If fishing is slow > Wellsville Fire Hall is having its fishing show March 14-15th ( Just west of Pinchot lake ). Just a few bucks to see a hundred venders.

I fished between York Haven and Saginaw last week and had a good time. There were alot of people out with the warmer weather but the fish were hitting good. Caught a bunch of nice smallies and a few decent walleyes.
