river conditions???

anyone been out on the river? the flow looks good aside from the cold temps?  whats doin?????
accurate report would be appreciated, thanks

    fishing has been great but the weather has been sucky-
    except for today- it was awesome!

    I'm glad someone got out on Friday! it was 51 degrees here in NJ, and man was I itching to get up there! OH WELL!

    Im new to site and fish SR every chance I get, cant go this week, hopfully next, three trips this winter, fishing has been great. Last day fished 2/04, coooold. had river all to myself, no wade fishers, saw 1 drift boat and fish were biting. Those winter steel are just unreal, some of the males I landed had the most beautifull coloring Ive ever seen. I dont care what the weather is, except for gale force winds or lake effect blizzard conditions Im up there. Tight lines all, JB NoNJ

    They're gearing up to spawn right now. Feb. is the month for big Steel. Right?

    i am planning on heading up in march sometime...buddy lives in oswego...lots to fish around there including the SR



    Plus, its somewhere different.

    Been up to my eyes in work. Nursing a really bad fishing jones right now and hoping to get a spring trip in between projects.

    I can't make a trip. My back is too unstable to wade there. The Big O would be doable, but I really hate the cold.

    I'll pm you and see if we can be fishing trip partners. I'm not into such far off over nighter going solo. Too expensive for iffy weather/fishing conditions. So far and my fishing buddy isn't into a March SR trip.  We'll see how it goes.
