Mook and to Anyone Else,

If you are going to mail a check, make the check out to the Smithton Sportsman Club and send to the address posted in this thread.

Please attached a note to Mike with your return address and let him know you got the information from Doug.

We are starting an electronic database of all members so we can do a mass mailing in the future for new events the club will be having.

Thanks for you support!

71, Ax, fshrmn- Looking forward to another fine outing on the Yough.
71-I will have 4 bottles of gas so that we can eat like kings. Ax is right, now that I remember, you were a bit juiced.
Ax- Jake left Mon. for the big mountains in Utah. He'll be there till April then back to the surf on the Outer Banks.
Chad and his wife made us grandparents(little girl,Charlotte) in Nov and now we're babysitting while they're up here for 2 weeks skiing and snowboarding. How's your little one doing? Bet you can't pry her away from mom and dad. I ran into the old man in Nov. up in NY on 18 Mile.
fishrmn--I'm glad you and your friends enjoyed the river and are C&R guys because the way you guys catch- 'em up, you'd put a hurt on the fish population.

Mook,

Not sure if John is related to Mike or not, but I will ask Mike when I talk to him again.

It gets cold riding on the back of the stocking truck, so make sure you dress according and bring your waders.

Doug

Got the Smithton Buttons in the mail this week!  I plan on helping stock but don’t know the Smithton area?  Anyone care to point me in the right direction for the March 7th stocking?  Thanks!

I always find the guys with the buttons right behind the ballfield in Smithton every year.  They always start there. They are supposed to start on March 7th (Saturday) at 9:00am. Here is the location:

Latitude   40.155736°
Longitude -79.742930°

No problem. I love my new auto GPS unit. I know how to get to the places I like to fish, but the problem always has been going from one spot to another. If I am fishin in Vanderbilt and now I want to go to South Connellsville, I know I go way out of my way to get there. Now I have all of the bait shops and my favorite fishing spots programmed into my Garmin so I should spend more time fishing and less time driving this spring, summer and fall.

Youghman Good to hear you on the board. In May lets plan a trip to Erie and fish the Bay. May have a big boat by then but still got the little one.
