Will they send the buttons out if membership is mailed in? Anywhere else you can pick up a button. Usually fish WN but want to try Smithton this year and would like to support the stockings.

Absolutely they will send you a button if you mail in the membership. Mike Hazy is a stand up guy. Or if you are a little sketchy about that talk to 71GTO or myself about us meeting you somewhere to give you a membership. Or any other stocking club committee member. Heck if you are in WN fishing and want one let me know I can drive it down river to you. IMO Smithton is a better place to wade fish, than WN but both of them are great clubs that do alot for the fishing in the area.

Nuke, Yes as Ax said Mike will mail you a membership and button or we can meet anywhere to your choosing. Let us know. If you know of others that would like a membership, please pass on the info. We are putting an electronic database together so we can have a mass mailing next year to old members and new for this year. Visit the website before stocking incase the river is raging and we can't stock, we usually post info there. And Nuke, I am going to rename you Duke, sounds better, hope you don't mine.... And Ax, where were you last night? And 222, you too, had to drink with the new President who drinks beer only....yuk! And Raz, forget what Ax says, I got a mason jar of cherry juice! Can't rely on MO anymore, between the woman and the union, he doesn't have a life anymore....lol! We may never see him again. 71

222, MO, and Raz, 222, you bet your bippy I had a drink for you, in fact a few. Should have called and we all could have come over and helped you fix that valve and had the meeting at the same time....lol MO, I found another supplier, but I must admit, your cherry juice is the best, I can't seem to find the right proportions. Will you ever tell me? Raz, yes we will have another gathering on the river during trout season, but can't promise you a Sunday though, you know the Lord frowns on fishing on Sundays when you suppose to be in church...the devil made me say that. 71

So, would a few good Dominican Republic Cigars be a good enough trade for some of MO’s Cherry Juice or even a special Hus Lure from GTO 71??? Any of you guys gonna be out fishing Smithton before the stocking starts? I just got married about 5 months ago and now this Cabin Fever is already biting me this early....can't blame the wife huh?

Fubu, You can fish for trout all year arond where we stock and yes if the river is fishable we will be there before we start to stock. Last time I fished in December and pulled 3 trout out on Clouse Minnow flies. And Good Cigars are always a hit on the river and yes I have some of those Hus's waiting for someone to toss, even the personalized ones....hehehe.....those are always in stock. Let me know when you want to go as my work schedule has alot of flexibility now. 71

Youghman, I figured you was snowed in up there in the mountains but wasn't sure if you had electricity, but guess you do, if you are here! I will give my regards to the guys at the next meeting. Oh, if you bring your grill, <ahem> make sure it is working, lol, so we don't have to go running around. That was too funny last year but frustrating at one point. You know Joe, every time I have fished the Yough since you had introduced Terry to me, I can't help but think how he would have enjoyed himself there. 71

Mike & Doug--It sure is a different world up here. It snows every day and I don't care because when you're retired every day is Saturday and every night is Friday night. The only thing I have to do is feed the fire and fill the bird feeders. I do admit I haved used the snowblower twice. A man has got to have his Red Man! A few more days like this and the river will be frozen over. Doug, re/ Terry, I was just looking at a picture of him and me and I was thinking how much I miss reading his post's on the Erie boards. Mike, I got an old toboggan and figure if I start at the top of 3 Mile, I should make it to Ruffsdale by the time I slow down. Doug--Don't be knockin' my grill! LOL If I remember correctly,(once we got some gas) that grill kicked****and fed us all, really well, that day.

Yes that grill did work fine once we had the right equipment. Maybe if 71 had not drinken so much juice he would have been better able to serve us. Joe get Jake to show you how to Ski down that mountain. I am sure he will be more than willing to try it out for you. Lets start planning the 09 Fish Erie Yough Outing. Maybe this year someone will actually fish. Just wont be me.

Youghman, Ax, Fishrmn, Trout Sen Sei, Krott, and Trout About, Joe, I wasn't knockin the grill, it saved the day, but getting it going was kind of funny in its own way, so don't forget the gas! Ax, I agree, we need to fish...lol...so we are going to have to start a little earlier in the day. Oh and don't forget to tell HarryApe that he needs to make the sauce again, it was dynamite. Fishrmn, Look forward to meeting you and your buddies, Did Joe have you using any of those Niti 1 lures? Trout Sen-Sei, I love that name...lol....Yep, an ole Monessen guy, and Mike will be happy to see you I can guarantee. It will be good meeting you. Krott, I just got some Raspberry and Root Beer juice that will knock you on your butt...amd if that doesn't work, then I will feed you some Habernos sauce...lmao...that will get your attention. Joe and Ax, I am going to have to check when we had the last one and plan around the same time as the weather was nice that day. I will be going down to Maryland to watch the Super Bowl only cause I need to pick up my 2 deer down there, so I will be bringing the deer meat again. I wonder if Patty will be making the burgers again? What do you think Scott? 71
