Pics of Fish Creek and Saratoga Lake Taken Today

Here are some pics of Fish creek and Saratoga Lake I took today. Looking wet and a bit slushy but there is ice on main lake, little hard to see in pic. Was surprised seeing it was in the mid 40's and raining through the night. I didn't check ice thickness.

    Great shots of the lake, but the most dangerous part of that lake is when you walk under the bridge.  Most people don't realize how much salt falls from above the bridge.  Last year, while jigging from the marina side I and a couple other guys pulled out more than four different people that went through under the bridge.
    Was over there day before Christmas and there was a lot of open ice toward Fitch Road due to the high winds.  After this rain and warm weather it may be another week of good cold weather before we can get out there.

    Went by Sarataga Lake today...can you say "scuba gear" was looking good til this warming. Looks like it is going to last until Tuesday evening. Did see a few guys out on Lake Lonely but looked pretty wet. Stopped in at Saratoga Tackle and talked with Tim and Nick. They been getting varying reports about ice on Lonely some say 4 inches others 6. Either way not going to last with this weather, probably won't even venture the walk out there until at least next weekend.
