reel repair

need some help.  does anyone know if anyone in mercer, lawrence or crawford county works on shimano reels?

    checked out their website and there are no service centers in ohio or PA.  closest is freeport, NY.  you can send the reel to shimano ofr repair.

    jon, that is exactly what i was looking for but could not find.  thank you.
     
    bull, first time i took them apart, i thought about using a hammer.  lot different than my old mitchells.

    can't bull, i have a pair of electric sox in there from twenty five years ago.  gotta find them before swinger finds me

    Sometimes if you just need a basic part also ebay is a ton cheaper than buying the same from the company. I have some shimanos also and haven't had them serviced yet. I will have to ask my one friend though, I believe there is a place near Harrisburg that does it but he isn't an official licensed shimano dealer so his name isn't on there site.
